Christmas with Billy No Blink and Millie



Soon it was going to be Christmas...

Billy No Blink put his Santa coat on
and hung up the Christmas lights.

He turned them on and off to see if they were working
then stood back and admired them with great pleasure
and satisfaction.

If there was one thing Billy No Blink liked about Christmas
it was the colourful Christmas lights
and he made sure to put them up every year!

Then he invited his friend Millie
and they both decorated the Christmas tree
with shiny stars, colourful bubbles and shimmery tinsel.




When they finished
they were both very pleased with themselves
and went outside and created
a very smart and very magical Snowman






They gave him a Santa hat
which he bounced skillfully up and down
and a snowflake which he turned
into a sparkly little star!

He was very pleased with himself too
and he said that he could do some extra special trick
and he asked Millie and Billy No Blink to close their eyes

Then he muttered some snowy kind of words
which Millie and Billy could not understand
and then he asked them to open their eyes again.

And what do you think they saw
when they opened their eyes????

Can you guess????

They saw .....



Winnie the Pooh...sitting right beside him
enjoying the snow!

Of course this was not the real Winnie the Pooh

because Winnie the Pooh was preparing
for his Christmas celebrations with his friends
Tiger and Piglet and Eeyore.




This was his image, pretty much like the images we see on TV
and they look as real as if the people are inside the TV screen,
but Millie and Billy No Blink did not mind.

They were very excited and thought it was a lot of fun.

It was dark now and rather cold outside
so they thanked the Snowman for the fun and the magic
and said goodnight to Winnie who they thought enjoyed
the cold and the snow and would want to stay outside
and keep company to the Snowman.

When they went inside they decided to play
one more game before going to bed.

"How about Christmas Bricks!" suggested Billy No Blink

"That's a very good idea" replied Millie.

So they arranged some colourful Christmas Bricks
into a nice and clever structure
to create a special message.

Then it was finally time for bed.

Millie had seen to it that their beds had also been
decorated with Christmas themes
and there were treats placed in a clever spot
for Santa and his helpers to find
as well as Christmas stockings for them to put
their messages for Millie and Billy in there.



They both went to sleep dreaming of the presents
Santa would leave for them during the night.

They had left the Christmas Tree lights on
so that the magic Snowman would be able to see it
and enjoy it while he kept an eye for Santa.



It really looked so lovely in the night from the outside!

In the mean time in a far far away place in the North Pole

where the only lights in the night were the moon
and the bright stars in the sky...



Santa with his helper elves and reindeers
started their customary journey in their magic sleigh
to deliver hundreds and thousands of presents
to hundreds and thousands of children and adults
all over the planet.

When they arrived to Billy No Blink's house
Billy and Millie were fast asleep.

Santa and the elves climbed up the chimney
and while they were putting the presents under the tree
the reindeers kept company to the snowman who did
his best to entertain them with his magic skills.




Then Santa, the elves and the reindeers bid goodnight
to the Snowman and continued their happy journey
because they had so many more presents to deliver.

Billy No Blink and Millie were blissfully asleep in their
comfortable Christmassy beds with happy smiles
on their faces as if they were dreaming happy dreams.

When they woke up in the morning they both checked
their stockings where they found 'Thank you' notes
with the magic photos of the smiling elves
thanking them for the treats they had thought to leave
for Santa and his happy magic helpers.

Billy and Millie were very pleased to find the notes
and thought that they should keep them in their
Special Christmas Books.

Then they run into the loungeroom
to check under the Christmas tree,
and oh my God!
wasn't it full of little and big exciting surprises!



They both sat down and started opening their presents
and laughed and giggled and they showed them
to each other until they were utterly spent but
thoroughly happy and decided it was time for breakfast

When they finished their breakfast they took a nice
fresh carrot to Mr. Snowman and wished him
and each other "Merry Christmas!"
and started throwing snow balls to each other
giggling with delight.

Then they went back inside and sat down
and played happily with their presents
and this they both agreed
was one of the most enjoyable Christmas EVER!...
